Our world is a pretty overwhelming place. Sometimes, in order to move past a situation we just need to slow down, deflate ourselves and recognize the simple promises of God that will carry us.
We'll be looking at this idea and the wise advice, "When you're stuck, deflate" this week.

We've been thinking and talking about Listening this past week and its importance in our life of faith. In our world of words, images, and messages, it is a very rare feat for us to just take time to listen.
What about in our life of faith? Do we take time to just stop and listen to God? Or are we too busy doing all the talking?

While it's only one person singing all the parts, it illustrates just how powerful sung harmony can be. There is something undeniably moving about multiple voices harmonizing together -- its as if there is something hard-wired within us that knows to appreciate community.
Our new topic for the week ahead is The Lord's Prayer. More specifically, the phrase, "As it is in heaven". Have we ever taken the time to think about the significance of praying for the world to become "as it is in heaven"?
