When You're Stuck, Deflate. Thats what we talked about at Devotion last night. It's a phrase that comes from a book "Shifting Sands" which talks about the spiritual journey as a walk across the desert. The idea is that there are times in our life where we fall into ruts. Our connection with God fades, life feels mundane, and we aren't sure what to do to get unstuck. "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act." Psalm 37:5 What if it's just that simple? Committing our lives to God and refocusing not on doing religious tasks or saying the right things, but simply living a life with God at the center and remembering God's love for us. That's where our conversation went last night at Devotion. What do you think?
